ORIGIN: CMS will inspect and verify working condition of the unit. We will inspect and inventory all floors and items associated with the icemaker service. We will locate the shut-off valve for the water line, and then remove the ¼-inch line at the source and cap it. We will then place protection on the floor prior to moving refrigerator for access to the line. We will remove line from back of unit. We will remove pump solenoid from back of unit and properly label, wrap and place in refrigerator. We will mark location of solenoid on paperwork. We will remove the water filter when present and drain it. We will discuss possible needs for new filter, if needed. We will check all water sources for proper capping again before leaving the customer’s home.
DESTINATION: CMS will inventory install location and unit prior to service. We will arrive with proper supplies and tools to complete service. We will use floor protection when moving unit for access. We will inspect the house line for any deficiencies. We will tape and check for leaks on all connections upon arrival, and again before leaving the home. We will inspect filters for corrosion and mold prior to assembly. We will inspect all electric connections to solenoid. We will inspect the icemaker’s operation and advise customer to remove first batch of ice once unit reaches full service.
